Wetworks! Whilce Portacio!
How old IS this drawing?
The linework is solid and clean...
...except for Grail's boots. Is that shading started with a grey marker? ...pencil that you didn't fully erase? ...photocopying artefacts?
Other than that, I must say everything looks quite nice!
Kudos on Mother One's arm...
cheers!

Thanks for your nice comment.
This is about 7 y/0 drawing. I wonder if I could still like this nowadays.
The left boot shading is actually a pencil smudge that I wasn't able to clean up.
I probably color this someday.
Thanks!

It reminds me of those 80's and 90's comic's, like the IMAGE style... really cool.
But why is it that you don't know if you can still draw like this???

Yeah, it is from an image comic
Wetworks - do you remember that one?
That was the best for about 5 issues, but it kept coming out late... behind schedule and stuff.
Whilce Portacio just didn't seem to have the desire to make it monthly... even though it was supposed to be.
After that, he had someone else pencil it... which ****s, and then, the plot started ****ing.
Alas...
Anyway, WireFrame, where are you from?

In defense of portacio...when the major artists left to form image, including whilce..he was hit with some serious personal issues...his sister was sick....and eventually died...
I know over the 2 or 3 years of her being in the hospital he was drawing and trying to hang in there...but I think he kinda lost heart in the buisiness and himself during that time.

Sorry about that confusing sentence. I meant was that I don't know if I could still draw like that nowadays. It's an almost abandoned interest.
'Wetworks' is a very good concept for a story. It's very unfortunate that Whilce wasn't able to beat his deadlines. I know him only as the mentor/boss for my friends and we're able to talk about certain things related to character creations and marketing them. He shifted his interest to giving more attention to his family that's the reason of the demise of the book.
I actually trained under him for a while before I got into cg. He's originally from where I am right now-- Manila.
