The modeling looks good but it needs some strings and new textures!
You might want to take a look at this page (http://library.thinkquest.org/27178/en/section/2/2.html) for reference. You're missing all the graceful curves of a typical violin. The belly and back of a violin are not flat. The fingerboard has an angle to it. There is a bridge and it has a purpose. And I've never seen a violin with pegs that huge before.
Sorry, if this sounds a little harsh ... but I think you have a lot of work to do on this yet.
