The way you got the poses setup it's kind of hard to critic.
On things such as height, skin tones from top to bottum, side view perspective.
From the current angels you've placed, the model and skin look great and spot on.
I only suggest the above you can keep it this way, i'm only pointing out what others might think at first sight.
My comments are my own judgement, just use them to the best of your abilities.
Btw, were's his sword =)

it's a very good point! I'm going to render the usual orthographic views along with some wireframes soon. I just wanted to be different :-( lol. thanks!!

I think you should add some highlights to the hair ponytail and bangs so it doesn't look like a mass of blackness. Other than that it looks good.

I like the model, nice job. I think the texture could use alittle more detail though. Its kind of plain. The black spot of shadow near his collarbone is alittle funny too.

I like it 8), but the eyes are all wrong you need to change that a bit.. :|

-yeah, the eyes are too cat-like.
-as for the black spot near the color bone, its actually skin cancer... poor haohmaru!lol it IS way to dark.. will fix, thanks! :D
-the mass of blackness is for style, and also to save texture space <textures would give away the simplicity of the hair geometry>... give and take i guess? I updated my site with the wire frames that show the hair better. i think i have enough to go ahead with some animations... thank you all for all your input! :D
