Looks like he's built pretty well, lets see the wireframe. His textures a little too painterly for my taste but looks well done. You might want to tweak the mirroring on his face its a little obvious right now. The only modeling crit I can give is that from the bottom view his triceps look a little too big compared to his delts and biceps. All in all a good model :D love to see him animated

wow, you're quickly becoming my favorite critic! :D One things for sure, I'm going to take the scare off from one side of the face. Can't wait to do the animations, going to be a lot more serious and japanime, unlike the freak head animation. Can't wait to hear what you think of that! :D
Going to post up wireframes soon <gtg now>
this looks wicked, got I get all happy looking at this, all those good and fun memmory's from all the dragonball mods like Bidforpower, and dragonballquake a couple of years back. :)

No offence man, but try redoing the face...
Haohmaru should look like this:

or like this:

Great Work Abe, I'm not too familiar with the character but from the images sqwall has posted your model looks quiet different to the pic's.
Besides that I also think it's great, your mesh looks solid from what I can see and I love the way you've modelled his top hanging out from his torso. Torso looks great I can see you know your anatomy!
Well done.
p.s can I ask If this is for fun or a project?

Sigh... I get the feeling people want me to redo the face! lolol I was trying to give it my little flavor <a touch of kenshiro from "Fist of the north star">, but I think I may have ruined the authenticity. After I rig and animate him doing some attacks, I'm going to redo the face and make it look like him!
I'm building him hoping to land a game job... I figured a good strategy would be modeling famous videogame characters who haven't been built in 3D or built poorly in the past (Samurai Showdown 3D... eww!). I'm probably going to build a game environment for Haohmaru to perform in too! Thanks for all the input!! very useful!

From what I can see you've got some shading on the cloth, but the texture is too dark, so the detail gets lost, and what little shading you have dissapears. I'd say brighten it up and up the contrast a little bit. Maybe desautrate the blue a liiiitle bit.
Also, are these renders or screenshots? The best would be if you could post either screenshots, or renders mimicing a game engine as close as possible. It would make it easier for us to see what could be improved. Lastly, give the hair some colour or a texture. Use either vertex colours to paint in highlights, or texture it, just do something other than black.
And give us wires :D
*edit*
Make the non-black comment go for the whole texture. Pure black isn't very good IMO.
*edit 2*
It looks as if there is some texturestretching on the back of the arms. Not sure since it's a faded image.

here are the much requested <and overdue> orthgonal views:
ORTHOGONAL VIEW (http://www.abe3d.com/mod_ani/ortho_textured.jpg)
WIREFRAMES (http://www.abe3d.com/mod_ani/ortho_wire.jpg)
-Brightened/desaturated the textures.
-scar appears only on one side of face, and one side on chest.
-added slight highlights to hair... I wanted the hair to be pitch black primarily for style (as well as the black applied to the rest of the character), but as an added bonus to cover up the low geometry.
This isn't running on any particular engine, but the character is self-Illuminated, maps filtered, and edges antialiased... so he'd look like this on an engine with the mentioned setup.
