I’m looking for some high speed reference footage of a bullet coming out of the barrel of a gun for a effects shot I’m going to be working on. Preferably a semi auto pistol from a side view. I did a search on google but only found still pictures.

If any one knows where I can find some footage along these lines please let us know.

Thanks for the link. Couldn’t find the high speed footage I was after but some very useful stuff in there. But a little pricey $150 for a 3 second clip :eek:

The Bad Boys DVD has tons of hi-speed footage of all kinds of bullets hitting everything from doors, plants to fish bowls. Hi-speed enough to see the bullets come flying.

I don't believe there are any close-ups of a bullet exiting the barrel, though. :shrug:

Also, there's a good shot in the Matrix when Smith shoots Neo.
It might be a VSFX, but it looks genuine enough for reference, I'd say.
