Already receiving some killer replies to this. Thanks so much ! You have some impressive sound and love the attitude you guys have... it's contagious energy!
Below is some additional info that I've been sending in replies to applicants and I want to put it here to give some more details.
We need work done for things that are easier to imagine, like engines firing, escape pods crashing...some sounds need a creative artists imagination and skill, like holo field generators, giant Iceworms.
We also will need >
Processing editing of actors voices and ambient sound recorded on the set and in the studio.
Atmospheres for settings like -interior of the escape pod, ice planet , space debris etc.
Many of the film scenes will not be done for a while....on these, you would have to be comfortable and able to design sfx with only concept art, text descriptions and feedback direction on your progress..
Jkt has confirmed he is on as main audio mixer

Some guys that sent in for this recruit have a full PM box here at CGTalk and I don't have your email to send info...can you email me or empty your PMs will resend info in next few days.
Anyone interested can have a look at the first audio run form Mikkel HERE (http://collabunlimited.net/network/groups/forum/topic/Ice-worm.htm#topic/Ice-worm.htm) .
We're using a new method for submitting, auditioning and giving feedback on audio.
Check out Mikkel's sound clip. With a waveform display and the time line we can audition the sound and then post comments on the exact point of the sound clip waveform we are talking about.
We used to do this by uploading the audio file to FTP or similar and then also a text file that contained the comments. To give accurate feedback you had to be listening the audio in a a player that had time readout and then you had to manually write all of the correct points and comments in secs/frames.
The person on the other end had to do the same and read the comments while trying to find the point on his time line player.
This is so much easier and faster...and multiple people can review the sound and comment.
This is another example of how the software on all fronts of production is quickly becoming more and more of a non issue to worry about as far as negative workflow impact. The new stuff just works, and it's more user friendly, easier, faster.

Added a dropbox to upload sounds.
Now anyone who has original sound FX ideas to contribute can do so.
Go to www.collabunlimited.net and look for the SFX dropbox button in the bottom of the right column.
Send your sound clips with a descriptive title like "explosion_muffled" etc, so we know what they are for.
thx

Mikkel has posted a comparison clip-
Some more body and weight to the original track "Iceworm screaming tremolo 8".

Sorry for delayed update on this one!
Mikkel has posted alternate versions of the roar SFX
Mikkel says: "Been working on a different roar today.
I think that the tremolo8 sound file could be used for the kreeper creature instead, like you said SD. This one could be used for the iceworm.
The tremolo8 file (both with and with out the lows) sort of feels more like a smaller creature, compared to this one.
Added some reverb to add even more body to the scream.
Nasty and scary:)
Also. working on some ideas that uses a deep fast breaht, and then scream more right on."
