Its a trailer inspired by Tron Legacy to demonstrate my 3D capability.

Created With Maxons Cinema 4D and composited with After Effects.

Heres the Youtube 3D Version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-o_cPvOS2k):
(Pls watch it on Youtube because of the 3D Viever Option there. The 3D button on the lower right.)

Version to watch in the Stereoscopic Player
WMV 1920 x 1080, 25 MB (http://silverwing-vfx.de/Animationen/Silver_3D_SBS_LE_RE.wmv) Left Eye Left / Right Eye Right)
Right Cklick and "Save As"

2D Version in Quicktime FULL HD
QT 1920x1080 px, 25 MB (http://silverwing-vfx.de/Animationen/Silver_3D.mov)

And a short breakdown of the scene:
QT 1280x720 px, 3 MB (http://silverwing-vfx.de/Animationen/Making_Of.mov)

Tecnical Stuff:

Done in Cinema 4D and After Effects. Rendered with Vray

All layers were renderd in 32 bit open EXR.

Used real motion blur. (Vray Phys Cam)

Real glossy reflections.

Time per frame per eye to render (Beauty 3d layer) about 5 minutes for full HD (1920 x 1080 px on a 6 core machine [6 x 3.33 ghz, 12 gb ram])

Used render layers:
Beauty, Depth, Luminosity

I really hope you like it!

I can't test the stereoscopic effect, but the piece is really nice.
I really like the subtle camera, it gives a nice sense of scale.
Some of the atmospheric effects look a little flat in the background, but that might be a workflow constraint with stereoscopic.
The texturing/ shading is nice and the overall modeling is simple but effective, but the lighting, design and execution is top notch.
Good work man.

Hi leif3d and thank you for answering and the kind words!

Some of the atmospheric effects look a little flat in the background
Hm... maybe I have to work on that at my next project!

If you dont want to use 3D glasses or just want to get rid of the anoying coloring of the image you can use a trick:

Here´s a short description how to watch 3D without glasses:

Step 1 -Set the Youtube 3D Setting to Cross-Eyed
Position yourself about 1 to 2 meters in front of your screen (more if it´s switched to fullscreen)

Step 2 - In order to experience the 3D effect, you’ll need to cross your eyes till a third center image converges in the middle.

Step 3 - Watch the 3D-result

It might take a while till you figure out how it works... but trust me once you do this more often you will become more experienced!

Cheers Silverwing
