How to change the measurement in Maya from inch to cm? I had changed the unit of "Working Units" to cm but the measurement of polygon still in inch.

Did you restart Maya after changing the setting? That should do it...

I am not quite sure what you are trying to do, so I just have to guess. To change units in maya:

Window > Settings/Preferences > Preferences > Working Units > Linear > to what you want

Try changing the unit after creating a simple poly cube (say pCube1) in the scene. The scale values in the transform node did not change, but the width, height and depth values in the input node (polyCube1) did change (from 1 to 39.37 when I switched from meter to inch). So something did happen, but perhaps not in the way you expected, i.e. Maya did not automatically update the scale values to reflect changes in unit. Having say that, measurements made using the distance tool did update to give you the correct values. I suppose Maya is doing the right thing, because you can freeze transform objects, so the actaul scale of an object may not be relevant after all.

But the truth of matter is (I'm just guessing) that you might just have some sort of model that you've got from else where which is out of scale when you bring it into an existing scene. So it's probably easier and faster if you group the object to itself (or group the various objects), and then simply scale group object appropriately.

Like I said before, you didn't explain in your original post what you are tring to do (in detail), and I'm just guessing. So it may or may not help.

By the way, I'm using Maya 5 on PC.
