Im trying to think of a way to animate this..

I have a Nurbs Curve connected to the guns rotation for easier control.

I need the hoses to stay connected to the gun. Currently I have a skeleton setup for the hoses but Im looking for better/faster control. Maybe a slider that controls both the curve rotation and the joints positions but how would i go about this? The end points of the hoses need to stay connected to the surface of the gun while its rotating.

Any suggestion?

this one could be a solution.

gun example (http://www2.fh-harz.de/~u13837/gun.mb)

forgot to describe.

i just clustered each of the guys and weighted them from 0 (end of the one) to 1 (connection to the gun). then i put the pivot of the cluster to the same location of the guns pivot and connected the guns rotation values to the ones of the clusters. thats all

but a solution with joints and a SC IK should also work the same and easy way. just creat a chain from the forelast joint in the chain, so the last one stays in the tangency to the gun to the connection to the gun. then create a SC IK to the chain and parent the ik to the gun. now you need only rotate the gun and all follows.

or you could put a ikspline and put some cluster where you want this to move and let the gun drive all that
jope thats help ya
