Hey all, first time posting!
I'm gearing up for a hybrid animal model (Lion/Human hybrid, with wings), and I'm trying to prepare myself for creating the wings. Here's a basic concept sketch of my proposed character:http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/2028/concept1l.jpg (http://img265.imageshack.us/i/concept1l.jpg/)

Realistically, the wings will need to be much larger to support his weight, but aside from that, does anyone have any tips or ideas about handling the wings? The final product of this is a turntable sculpt, so, for right now at least, rigging and animation functionality isn't totally necessary. Maybe modeling the basic shape of the wing, and then using Zbrush to sculpt the feathers and such?
Any ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance for you help!
