Hi sarfarazsoomro, there are 2 files
Apels.mel and usersetup.mel
Open this apels usersetup.mel and copy pasted it to your usersetup.mel (merge)
copy apels.mel to your Maya script directory
restart maya, then you'll have new sub menus on the bottom of your edit polygons menu :)

i have removed apels from my site after receiving a request to do so from its author, swaminator.

he is going to upload a new improved version in the next few days.

apologies for unauthorised distribution

Hello people,
I wasn't sure where APELS was going (free script, free plug, commercial plug, due to pressure from various sources) which is the reason why I removed it from download. Anyway, the script will be made public and available, and whatever decision might be made about a plug for it won't effect this.
Another reason for withdrawing it from download was that the old version that was being distributed is slow buggy and restricted compared to what's coming, which could simply put off potential users.

The parametric smoothing is much faster, in fact in all the Meshes I've tried you could even call it Real-time. The beta version should be ready by mid-week, and depending on how quick I manage to erradicate all the bugs, you can hopefully expect a fast parametric edgeloops splitter, with all-quad support, some time next week.

I won't be available much until mid-week, so see you next week with hopefully some new toys.
Later.
