For some reason my webspace was lost...now i got a new one...

I'm still working on the geometry...so the maps are very early stage...i made the image only one color for better focusing the object geometry...

i'd say the eyebrows are to 'v' shaped (they need to be flatter), and the chin needs to be slightly lower down

maybe

Brilliant modeling, she has a resemblance to Sandra Bullock, especially in the eye area.
The topology is efficient looking as well. Would like to see some more views particularily the ears, from the current views they look smallish, but im not sure. :buttrock:

Very nice! I can't see anything overtly wrong with the model itself - the chin might seem a bit small but I don't think its outside the norm for humans to have chins that are that small. I would say that it gave her more character than anything else. You might want to look at the bump mapping of the lips though, they seem a bit harsh at the moment and you might want to lessen the number of bumps as well particularly toward the corners of the mouth on the lower lips and on the top lip as a whole. Looks great though!

i think the modelling is gorgeous, really, with only this side to me looks perfect, the kind of perfection you find in natural forms... :)

But the lightning shading texturing, needs work, guess you´re on it, dont know how advance are you on texturing cause that lightning "eats" part of the texturing... over exposed?

About ideas, well, right now this is just a beatifull and natural looking face, nothing else...it helps me to think in the background of the character, to give her some personallity, what does she do, hows the world she belongs to? that kind of questions...

One Question: how do you get to see "isolines" on polys in maya? i didnt know maya had this function...is it like in max5 scripts, something just for seeing it there, or you have "ghost points" and you can edit in there?

keep at it

...first thanks for all comments...

@digitalshaman: u are right about the eyebrows....i´ll change it

@Threedeemer: i think the ears are big enough...its just the perspective that makes them look that small...

@FallenSwordsman & koroko: ...i know...Shading and Lightning is still poor...but i´m on it...

@koroko: "...how do you get to see "isolines" on polys in maya?" I don´t understand  the question...

Dirty? GOOOD :buttrock:

But he is right ;)

Otherwise... the area where the eye and the nose connects is a bit strange, can't quite put the finger on it :(

It looks great. One thing I would change, but may be a personal preference, is to tone down the refections in her eyes. I feel there is too much and the impact of the eye gets "lost." One lighting tip I learned from filmmaking is to give the "actor" (or in this case the 3D character) eye-lights, a little glow off-center of the iris -- a reflection of a nearby light. This often helps in giving an illusion of life. I would suggest playing around with your lights and the reflection properties until you get eyelights and a tiny reflection near the center of the eye.

Keep up the good work!

Awesome model

the belly button seems a little too triangle or something.

the breasts could be a little smaller? or less ball shaped perhaps, I guess.

She has a very defined body, and it's looking very good. But I hope you have productive ideas for the model! As some other people may have a very similar model to yours. I hope you have good luck, you are mapping and modeling extremely well.
