A very nice picture series. I enjoyed watching the progress in the WIP section. I think the tree fern adds a lot to the picture with the definition in the shadows that is gives. :)

This is a beautiful job, Thierry. I agree with nalhcal - your choice of tree & reflection is perfect. How about some interior & engine bay shots?

Was it rendered in 4D too?

I'm modelling an old F1 car in Cinema - any chance you (or anyone) could post a couple of links of tips for texturing & lighting cars?

yes : modeling and rendering with Cinema4D
Without light, just HDRI map and radiosity

Awsome..

Just a thougt could you make it do a burn out on a drag strip or some stright random road? Lots of smoke coming from the rear tiers that is. 8)

Or make the rims crome? i like shiny things

looks sweet!, but do you plan on taking that car mudding? those tires are THICK :) put some low-profile tires on there, and it'll look alot better

Maybe the tree's shadow be too much...
How about a more regular shadow shape?

Nice Enzo. The most complete model i ever see. Doors that can be open and stuff. 5 stars for you! :D

Looks ok.:wise:
Does not appear photorealistic.
The background in which you have showcased your model is very dull.If you cant put some work in the background why not put the model in simple white backdrop with finalgather or GI.

hey thierry.....
thats a good piece of modelling!
i alwyas tried to get out a realistic looking car with cinema, never thought that is possible...but you show me this thing now, and i know i've to work harder to get such results, cause it's possible (working with c4d too)

keep it on!
great job, as i said!

You should take a look at the Enzo model in the gallery here at CG talk.... IMO best Enzo I've seen yet. Yours is great but the comments about the sidewalls of your tires is correct they do look very tall for a sports car or maybe your wheels are a little to small diameter wise.

The thing I noticed is the face of the wheels look very flat, the wheels of the enzo have shape to the spokes, as do most wheels.

Last thing there is a big black flat spot over the rear wheels when the engine cover is open, is that due to lack of reference or a WIP area? If you need reference I may have a pic for you that I took when I seen the Enzo at SEMA last year.

Keep it up its very very good!

60 hours for modeling
and I don't know for lighting test in HDRI, but it's not perfect

light seems like a real thing.
I like a this one. How can make polygon by Cinema4D?
what time does the car render?

Looks really good. Top notch modeling.
The only thing I can see that needs to be fixed is the parts around the rear air induction system. It looks paper-thin. That is the only thing that I could spot, so I think adding a thinkness to it could make it much more realistic.

WOW! Much better. More renders different angles please.

But I said this last time and you musta over looked my comments... so I will say again. I see you addressed the wheel size and the tire sidewall profile... VERY good. But the wheels themselves still IMO look flat from this angle. Ferrari wheels have a 3D feel and the spokes are curved. For really good ref take a look at this site. www.dieselstation.com Loads of high res Ferrari Enzo pics....

This isnt the best pic...

See how the spokes are rounded and curve as they come to the center of the wheel? Yours look flat and straight, now if you had custom wheels on your Enzo that would be fine, but I think your going for an "on model" look, you made some improvements keep going!
