Hello all this is my system spec.

Radeon 9500 Pro
P4 2.666
Asus P4s8X mobo
7200 rpm HD

I am running a dual desktop setup @ 1280 X 1024 @75HZ 32 bit color.

In 3DsMax i get around 15 FPS in a scene with 6854 polygons and two lights. Is this about normal? For some reason my card starts to choke once i hit around 5000 polys.

I just need some threads o naverage FPS in max with a similar poly count. thanks all.

Post some framerates with certain files, like the files from sample scenes or benchmark files from the second CD. So you can compare to other people's results.

Add

ShowFPS=1

Under the Performance section in the 3dsmax.ini
