See the racing team of the future in the Syd Mead inspired NVArt5 - Accelerate.
CGSociety and NVIDIA collaborated to bring the best designers and Visual Futurists together. Check out the winners.

It was really cool to participate in this competition. I saw so many beautiful artworks and now I know much more than I had before. Great thanks to Cgsociety team and nvidia for this holiday and great thanks to master Syd. Congrats to all winners!

Some stunning concepts there. 5ths place is just simplicity in it's most beautiful form.

BTW: The article misses out the winning prize for 1st place at the moment. Maybe someone can correct it?

What is with the question mark and who is the winner? all announced are honorable mentions...I dont get it!

At the bottom of the page there's a link stepping forward to "the winners". :)

It's all there apart from the bold paragraph explaining 1st place prize like the other 4 places :)

I totally agree (and I'm not talking about my own entry :blush:). I guess since Mead was a judge, he knew what he was looking for in a winner. It was a great contest and the winners should be congratulated.

I have only one problem with the winners: all uses only ONE style of Syd.
Syd has more style, for example he has very strong retro style.
On the winners I see only the steril-hipermodern line.

This is sad for me bacause I love Syd retrofuturistic art.

Congratulations for the winners of the contest!I guess,everyone was a winner because it was a great challenge and the results were amazing!
But I totally agree with endi2 - The end results are showing just one style.There are many different shapes of style and creation in Syd Meads Artworks.And I know many amazing works here with a good combination of future-and retro design.
In the end we have to deal with it....
