hi, i think the bg is kinda empty, needs more elements, now it seems like everything's devided and not from a same composition.. one more thing, im not sure where the guy in yellow is shooting at.. it has no interaction with the character behind him,.... making the whole picture weird..
my 2 cents.
peace:)

wierd....ok.

yeah I see what you mean, when I first drew it I just whipped up the drawing knowing I was going to use it to learn photoshop with it. I had a ship in the background but it looked like the guy in yellow was shooting at it and the picture seemed less balanced.

you are right I should have made him shooting at something

I think its really good. You are thinking about form.
Dont worry about not having a pen the mouse forces your shapes to be much bolder. Think about where the light is intercepted.
Play up the texture in the lit forms.
pick a light source and stick to it.
look forward to your next. Do you work from life at all?

I dont work from life anymore, though sometimes I should use a refrence, I want to do it from my mind. I seen enough people I should know what they look like and how clothes fold etc... now technical drawing would be different like car or planes I would use a refrence maybe, though I would most likely design my own.

freaking sweet. glad to see you finally finished this one. i am really pumped to see that you are getting bolder with color. it's really evident on the red robot in the background. and with a mouse too...
