A little about me:
I listen to mostly Indie music.
Favorite movie is Water world, and original Star Wars trilogy (of course)
I'm mostly interested in matte painting and concept art

Hey man thats cool to hear that you are also going to Gnomon. Im 18 too and I was thinking of applying for the Fall, are they still accepting students for the Entertainment Design program for September?

I've been working on my portfolio for some time now, it mostly involves visual effects and animation done in Maya. How's long have you been working on your portfolio?

Yes they are. They are accepting applications in August. From what I hear they tend to cut the deadline pretty close to when the program begins.

I was fortunate to discover Photoshop and Matte painting when I was young. So in a way I've been working on my portfolio for years. I chose a few favorites and some pieces that weren't exactly an artistic masterpiece, but I felt confident enough in the ideas.
