Is there a way to do this?
I have a scene where I'm changing the area of focus, starting out with Far/Near values of 28/35 and ending up with something like 40/55.
I've autokeyed the Far/Near parameters for the camera however, then I go to F10 > Render Elements and add Z depth, there, I cannot figure out how to force the Z Depth parameters to automate and change with the camera parameters.
I've checked off 'Update' but the values are either exactly the same at the end of the scene as they are at the beginning OR the 'Far' value jumps to something like 1839.00 which is waaaay to high.
Using Z depth so I can control the blur etc. in post. Any tips on how to animate the settings in the render elements tab so that it keeps up with the Camera parameters? :banghead:
PS: Using Mental Ray
Thanks!
