View Full Version : Unwarp UVW doesnīt work anymore

Hi all..

This is my first topic here and Iīm looking forward to post my latest work here for the thirst time. Sorry for wasting your time now but..

After I changed my max from 4.2 to 5.0 the unwarp uvw doesnīt work anymore.

In detail: I canīt see see the texture in the background when I am editing the map.
I loaded my old models with 5.0 and I canīt see the map there either; there is a crappy blue square in the background I can toggle on and off but he doesnīt display the texture correctly.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Do I have to change anything from max 4.2 to 5 to make the map visible?

As for the graphics I got a Gf4 ti 4800 and Iīm using opengl mode. I tried all the other modes too so thats not the reason...

Add an unwrap modifier and load up the edit window, go to options and choose advanced options, look for tile brightness... Increase the value.

you are no fool, thats a bug i already knew from the beta, the stndard setting is just stupid, who the hell needs brightness in his unwrap-editor?

brightness is not that bad. When you have a bright texture, it can help to set the brightness down to work the uv.
But I really agree the standard setting is stupid.
