Hi,

I'm from munich, germany, and I did a little "finger exercise" the last days. It's just for fun... Download a short hand-animation here:

Hand Animation - divX codec - 1mb (http://www.lightrays.de/download/wip/hand_test3.avi)

The hand-model is a little bad, I know... but what do you think about the animation? Critics and comments welcome!

Greetings from the Munich Oktoberfest!

Hi Anderl,

actually I kinda like it!

:)

One thing, tho: what is it doing at the end when one finger goes on top of the other?

As you already pointed out (kinda anyway ;-) ...) the hand is bit on the "blobby" side on top? A little more definition would probably help a lot...

Cheers to Munich - dontīt get to drunk tonight!!! 1 litre of beer is not to underestimate...:beer:

The hand flips (or snips?) the pinky-finger... the finger on top tries to hold the pinky-finger in place while the thumb builds up some tension to flip (or snip?) the finger away in the next frames... hmmm....hard too explain...

anyway: you're right... it looks strange... ;)

regarding the model: I'm currently working on a new one... this time a little bit more realistic and it's got five fingers... ;)

I'll post it here, when it's worth to show.

Greetings, Andi
