CGTalk - New to Icarus... won't load movie

View Full Version : New to Icarus... won't load movie

I just installed icarus to play around with it... only thing is, when I try to import a movie file... it keeps giving me "movie format not supported" message.

I know its the program becuase it won't even load the sample movies installed with icarus.

Any ideas?

Icarus movie import has something to do with DirectX
try updating your directX drivers
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx

worked for me when I had import troubles.

Depends on the version of icarus that you have. I remember that there were issues with DX9 when it first came out and they fixed it with the newer point releases of Icarus.
