hi. i've been working on this character for some time now.
done in lightwave7.5.

i started it for gta:vc. but it's my first model and i rapidly got over the gta polycount i guess.
for now it's just under the 2400 tris. and it could need some optimisation.

but the reel question is. : it's my first model. it's going to be animated bit it haven't medeled thinking of that. So i don't know how it will deform. can some of you who have experience can give me some advices on that?

tks. jf.

The knees won't deform very well, you need some more polys at the joints. The shoulders might have a bit of trouble as well, but that's gonna depend a little on how you rig it. I can't see much of the waist, but from what i can see it might have trouble deforming as well... he wouldn't be able to bend over very well.

Spend some more polys in the areas where the mesh will be bending. ;)

Yep, ad polys where the joints are en use vertex weights when rigging. This gives you better deformations
