Hello All
I'm trying to make this happen with xpresso but I'm a newbie :(
what i'm trying to do is this
I have a group of objects with a material applied to each of them
I have this null that controls falloff node in xpresso and whenver the null touches each objects, the luminance value in material animates from black to white only on the objects that null touches.
I made this xpresso and it animates but it doesn't seem to work the way i want it to.
Can anyone help me?

The last object in the list is determining the falloff, which is driving a single parameter on a single material applied to all objects. Each object needs to be associated with a separate material or parameter using an Object Index node.

Here are a couple of examples. One maps the local Y axis positions of the objects to linear gradient knots and drives their intensities using the falloff values. The texture is applied with a cylindrical projection. The other applies a material to each object and uses falloff to drive luminance brightness. The objects can be offset on multiple axes. It's simpler and more versatile but less fun.
