:wip: attention..... haha
well im new to this forum posting thing. So ill kick it off with this lil side project im doing(only at blocking stage). This is for a friend, he wants to get some of his art 3d printed. I said id give it a go. Ive never done anything for 3d print before so still trying to work out how to keep it all one piece while making sure i can attach the main character to something strong enough to support the weight.
My Background... Ive studied for 2 years at Lifeway 3d Animation College in NewZealand. Finished it at the end of last year. Currently working at Sidhe Nz, since March as an environment modeler.
Im trying to better my character modeling skills... flow of topology, how is it going to affect the rigging/skinning. I really want to get better at all of this so if u notice anything let me know what and how i can go about fixing it.
I don't think I've really captured the scared look on the fishes face. any ideas on what i can do to make it look better in this blocking stage?
This is for 3d print and has to eventually become one piece. any hints on how to model the seaweed around the character so that it can hold the weight?
