man that thing is really creepy, looks more friendly than normal clowns though:thumbsup:
Clowns scare the snot out of me ... but this is a really cool image. My only comment would be that the wiskers and bits of hair seem too random and chaotic. It looks really nice on the top of the head, but around the side of the face and ears it really looks like you didn't pay as much attention to their placement and length. They'd also be a bit more interesting if you caught some of the lighting in them so they don't look so flat or like a "layer".

yes i agree, i think the hairs are a distraction, they look cool but i think you ned to lplace them more precisely, i also think the nose needs some attention. considering clown noses are plastic there is very little to distinguish the materials from the skin. besides that looks good:thumbsup:

I agree with ya both, that the hair are a bit lowquality, but it was
6 am when I did this. I will fix it.
And the clownnose is his real nose, thats why it doesnt shine like
plastic.
Thanks for ya comments and crits:)

Here he is with less hair but better lightning on it.
I also tweaked the hole in the head a little bit and the nose...
Much better now... I think?!
Oh yeah ... much better now!
Very creepy looking clown head! Good job, but I got only a couple more suggestions.
What are the lines at the bottom? They look like laser beams or something shooting at his face. I'd leave those out ... kinda' distracting.
The only thing I can think of to make this more disturbing to look at would be some blood in his mouth or oozing out of his eyes/nose/ears, etc. but that's entirely up to you.
*runs away from the bad clown*

Creepy! Looks sweet. One thing I notice is that the teeth look kind of flat and sketchy compared to the rest. Maybe a thin white highlight on one side of each of the teeth would make them pop out more.
Hey, nice stuff there. Is actually funny you made an evil clown, I was working on my own. Hope to get some critique as well :)

@ m_dv: Looks sweet too. But i dont like the hair so much...
A bit more work on the hair and he would be great...
Also do some work on the eyes. They are really
impotant. They show most of evilness. If the eyes
are not worked out well, the clown looses much
madness.
A little Tip: tiny pupills, light iris and the distance
between the eyes a bit more then human eyes.
But thats also a question of your style.
Keep on dude:applause:
Cheers

Here he is again....
I fixed the highlights on the teeth like Eric told me. Now its better, there is more depht now.
I'm using Explorer on my home PC and at work and I can see the lines pretty clearly even though they are faint. They didn't show up on the previous images so, I'm thinking it's an error on your wiskers layer. The colors match the highlights you painted into the hair (red, white, gray). Even with my brightness and contrast turned down on my monitor I can see them.
The new changes to the teeth look great!
great tips there, thank you. I'l rework it soon probably, may as a digital painting! Let's see. Anyway, thanks for the comments...and keep up the good work.
