Depending on what your school offers and what particular field of "CGI" you want to work in, I would suggest:
- drawing
- painting
- sculpting
- photography
- video production
- computer science/computer programing

Thanks, I mean I want to be an entertainment designer, a 3d and 2d artist, what would that require?

Good sir that would require.
- drawing
- painting
- sculpting
- photography
- video production
- computer science/computer programing
All of these are very important in their own way.

Also, if your high school's art department is lacking, as many are, taking classes at your community college can be a great way to supplement a mediocre high school. This has the added benefit of these courses potentially transferring if you go to an art school for college and at the very least it will give you the foundations of a good entrance portfolio for schools.
In high school I would also take the time to explore videos like Digital Tutors and Gnomon to get an idea of what you really want and use boards like these to get an idea of demands for different areas. If you are lacking in traditional art skills it may be much more difficult for you to find work as an entertainment designer than as an FX TD, so definitely don't corner yourself into one area right now. Explore all your options while you're young and you can.
