If anyone's interested, I just refurbished my gallery with old and new images- it's mostly c4d with a fair bit of Modo stuff.
Even though I use Modo quite a bit I still rate c4d, especially for its render speed and reliability!

I'm currently working on a couple of new Modo projects now I've upgraded to a faster machine...

Hi Martin,

good to see you are back! I miss your colorful and highly detailed tutancham mask image in your gallery. IMO one of your best works.

BTW. speaking of Galleries..., have you seen the new EIAS site? Quite superb! There are EIAS images from modo ace Gelmi too!!! Didnīt know that he's using EIAS (assuming itīs really him)?!

Regards
Stefan

Hi Stefan, tx for the comment!
I think it's the same gelmi- looks very much like his work and sadly an unfinished work which I suspect typifies some stuff out of EI. I never had much success with 8 with the new stuff, kept running out of memory. I actually thought of loading up a version (7) yesterday to do a bump map for use inside Modo, but my new system wouldn't recognise the dongle. I still very much like the procedural stuff out of EI and its very useful for making texture maps if nothing else.
Yes the new site looks the business! Do you know if Vs 8 will work with Win7. I'm 64bit, but old apps will still often work.
I got a new setup with a geforce 470 and am shortly going to give Octane a go...
