This one is just sweeeet!!! Man, you're on a blazing pace at creating characters . . . is this one for the Animation Factory or personal?

I swear, you should put out a 'toon modelling DVD or something . . . i'd be the first in line!

Peace.

...and I say as we usually do about your models in the LW-forum; excellent Remi!

You should post here more often so more people get to see what great stuff you make!

Regarding the character IŽd say he looks more like a british navy captain than an actual pirate... but who am I to judge what piraty thaughts dwell behind that arogant face ;)

Anyhoo... great character!

Excellent Character.
Maybe increase and sharpen up the split in his hat and give his tash a bit of a curl.

His face seems broad and flat to me. The rest of the body seems to be well proportioned, just cartoony, but the faces flatness jumps out at me. Maybe if you rounded out his head a bit while still keeping that cartoony feel it could be even better.

Either way I dig it. He needs piratey accessories though. I definitely dig the ruffled shirt. :)

Great , I like it!
I've never seen a pirate hat like that though, did you use reference for it? I think the yellow parts needs more work. Looks like there's not much texture on them.

Good work though, if you make an animation, be sure to post it too...

The character looks alright. Judging from the mesh, it's easy to see that you know what you want to achieve when modeling. That character should be fun to animate.

nice model,, its simple and neat good job..my only crit is taht the texuring on his face looks a bit off and needs a bit more work of accuracy ..
and by the index on the left hand is going through the thumb a bit.." im jst being picky :) ...but other than that its amazing and i reaaly like it..would love to see him animated..

keep it up:thumbsup:

Thank you for the comments....glad you liked him.:) I actually didn't use any refs for this guy...he was just kind of made on a whim....and thanks for noticing the finger issue....my weights weren't quite setup right there but that has been fixed since. Thanks again:)
