View Full Version : Animations merging wrong?

Hey,
I've been trying to setup a charector to work within motionbuilder, I made a rig with all the names etc, and charectorized it inside motionbuilder. Now, when I apply some of the mocap animations to the charector, the arms are all messed up. This is what the animation 'punchguy' looks like;

Ive never used motionbuilder before, so I dont really know how to fix it. I guess its something to do with my bones setup not being right around the shoulders?

Realised the shoulders wernt actually where shoulders should be (pretty stupid mistake!), and its cleaned up the animation a lot. Is it possible to add collisions to the skin, so its impossible to say move the arm into the charectors side?

I don`t think so. But you can play with offsets in character properties. That should help.
