No more work is being done on this, but since I really want C&C on this I'm posting it here:

I made it for a 2D computer game that never took off. How does it look? I don't have access to any wires at thsi moment, sorry. :) I do have some old WIP pictues though.

Please give some C&C!

well using the same brick texture over and over is a poor choice imo.

realisticly, cutting bricks to shape like that.. well it just doesnt happen. (regardless even if this is fantasy)

u should think about getting some architectural reference.

there are terms and styles in architecture that could help you.

http://architecture.about.com/library/bl-glossary.htm

buildings use varying materials as well. they can go from brick and have stone, or metal, wood, or plaster, concreate, even big boulders stuffed into mud..

the overall shape is alright, the steps need some geometry variations instead of just sharp square corners (wich we all know the mesh is made of)

hope that stuff helps

my C & C

1. the exterior texture seem to be real boring. Too much stretch work around the base.

2. Modelling. When it come to game modelling, it is quite impossible to have subdivided object. UNLESS you are doing a sprite based game which has no polygon limitation. I saw the stairs of yours. IT looks too "slippery".

3. A good try anyway. The idea is good over all.

Thanks guys. As I said, it was for a 2D game. Thanks for the C&C. One of these days I'll be good......:)
