View Full Version : Rendering help
anim8ruk 09-22-2003, 11:47 PM Hi all,
I'm looking to render a vehicle but with the wireframe still showing on top of the image. I've seen this done a few times before. Can anyone tell me how to do this using Maya??
Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
Cheers

Why not checking "WireFrame on Shaded" in the view port , use also smooth wirframe if you want and play a bit with the Material used on the car so it looks lighten then just PlayBlast to a file ( not using avi). I did it many times and gives nice results.
There is many threads about that in Maya forum here and in Highend3d.com where you could find a plugin designed for that purpose.
Hope it works for you.

you can layer the shader to do this as well. Could give a really interesting look. I might explore building this shader myself at some point .
