yes, there is more than one way
use (softwares): polytrans, viewpoint interchange or Molecules-3D
or plugin: objtomax (search the net...it's free also i'm sure)
search in max3d.3dluvr.com & www.3dcafe.com, you will find some cool stuff for that purpose.

objtomax is the best one on the list, it keeps everything quads wheres the other plugs triangulate everything..
but it will not export texture ( it should but iv never got it working :rolleyes: )

yes, the texture import/export is the most important(/exportant!!!) thing.
i think viewpoint interchange could do export material or atleast textures...but not sure, could examine...wait a few days!
Is obj2max also export the UV coordinate with the mesh?
