polyData 1.0 (PUBLIC BETA)
POLYGON WIREFRAME SHADER

polyData shading node Plug-In allows Maya
users to render TRUE polygons wireframe in
software rendering.

Download the 'polyData10_WIN32_PUBLIC_BETA.exe' file from:

http://public.provide3d.com/files/beta/polyData

Includes Plug-Ins for Maya 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0 (WIN32)
Includes Sample Scenes.
NOTE: Once downloaded, unzip it, find the 'README.txt'
file and follow instructions.

hi provide3d,
I don't know if this would make a difference to you since it's instanced geometry, but there's some tri artifacting in the quad faces on the seam edge. Rotating one mesh gets rid of them.

The other thing I noticed is when I start Maya with the shader node applied to the geometry, the texture is gray in the viewport with hardware texture view. If the scene is reloaded the texture is black. Changing the antialiasing option is the only thing I found so far that reverts it back to gray.

Nice shader though.

It works fine here (Maya 4.0)
But a little bit too slow with constructional/building structure :cry:
But its really great shader, thank you for this beta test :thumbsup:

Fixed. Have a look at the render I've just done.
Download the 'polyData10_WIN32_PUBLIC_BETA.exe'
file again and overwrite all the files.

I have just updated the BETA with:

- New Sample Scenes
- Improved Rendering Performance ( 10-15% )
- Improved Documentation ( Tips and Tricks )

To use it, download the .EXE file again and
overwrite all the files. Please read my first post
above.

FULL version will be available next week ( October 1st )
at PROVIDE3D website: www.provide3d.com
