View Full Version : Animated water
Akesson 09-22-2003, 03:36 PM I need to animate water in a square container. Does anyone have any likns to tutorials or sample-files of something like that? I may end up using realflow, but i would prefer to do it with C4D directly.
Cheers,
Peder

if you jst want the water to ripple a bit then use the water shader with animated noise
for reaction to objects create a soft body mesh, you will see an example of this in the coin in beer tutorial included with c4d, there is also an example i think in the dyanmics features folder that shows a ball being dropped into a bowl of water, good effect
also have a look at the maxon site for the tuts on simulating water with displacement

...and if you haven't dynamics you can use SLA proximal shader
