Im in the market for a new graphic card. Has anyone seen a benchtest for high end cards used with cinema4d?

im posting this in a few forums so dont get p-ed off seeing me repeating myself all over the web. ;)

Check out the Cinebench 2003 thread, there were Wildcat benchmarks too. They weren't that good... Of course, using a high-end card means you have much more memory, which is quite good, if you have 2-3 million + polygon scenes, and Cinebench can't measure this.
Anyway, I think you should a Radeon 9800 Pro with 256 Mb ram, that's the best choice, IMHO.

While I can't personally vouch for any particularly C4D friendly video card (not enough first hand experience with all of them), I would say that the imashination Cinebench page should give you a fairly good overview of OpenGL performance across a variety of video cards. Take a look:

While I had an Ati Radeon 8500 full card, I had problems, not in Cinema but in other 3D apps. Since I've interchaged it to a Geforce 4 tit, everything was turn right.
I think the screen redraw function has some problems in Ati cards, for in apps that lays much on it, often were freezed, not so with the geforce.
