I always seem to have to randomly scatter cloned objects over the surface of another object or within the volume of another object without any of the clones intersecting each other. Can anybody write a script for that where I can also control the distance between objects?

You would be my hero for all time. Seriously though, you would.

unfortunately theres no script for this afaik...theres only surfacespread plugin which can do that. i rly hope maxon add this for mograph surface clone option...im waiting for this soo long :(
