Thats a very nice looking piece. I like how the buildings are bowed outward from the corridor. Lighting is also pretty nice. Do all of us peons a favor and post some wires, as well as what software you are using.

damn! looks damn fine. How much on it is post? Somehow it reminds me of FinalFantasy spirits within, with that big winged 'ghost" going trough that cathedral.

wow, that's a LOT of detail in the buildings.

Considering how dim the edges of the picture are the center seems to be much too bright; almost to the point of washing out detail on the bird thing in the center.

thanks for every viewer, this is my last work, for the past time, and also for my new beginning.I hope to grow up,and I had to move on.

every beginning is a new way,we can hold it and control.every one both a tree,to guow up and pick the new day.

It looks kinda messy. Cant really figure out what is happening. I felt it could be better of if there was less light in em. more subtle depth to bring out the full detail in place of the bright washout light.

I hate cloudy & darkness,it almost bring me fair and lonely.it's also like my life, for always.and as a wish, the buildings which had exposed under the sun-shine is inside my dream.cause here is a place can far away from lonely and darkness, where can bring me more happiness and the full freedom,at last,to find the own way about my-self.

that's all I wonder.

Wow this is stunning work. What I especially like is how you build in stuff that is not clearly visible, which set the mood. Also the not-objectal things (the rags etc) are VERY well done

great job!

This is an interesting theme you got there. Reminds me of Final Fantasy for some reason. Great detail on the buildings! However the amount of fog you have in the middle to cover the discontinuity of buildings is a little disturbing. It limits the depth of the image a lot. Also it is far too dark on the left side. Could use some more lighting according to the rest of the scene. Great stuff though. Frontpage material for sure.

Very nice work. I absolutely LOVE it when people pump out quality work with 3ds max. For me, its like a big rasberry to all of the pretentious "High End" software users that scoff at max. Not that everyone that uses other software (Maya, XSI, Houdini) is that way, but I do see it quite often and its just nice to see someone proving the old saying about the artist having more weight than the tool.

Keep up the good work!

That is simply great. I like very much how the buildings deform
and the light gathers in the middle. You also pay much attention
to detail.

respect,

Bob

@decible: I thought 3DS Max is a high-end software. I mean
its price is almost the same as Maya.

you FEEL your work...i respect that.Just like the old masters(though they too were commissioned may times).

i'm mixed on the amount luminance in your image...one one hand i'd tone it down a tad.One the other it helps convey the ethereal feeling which leaves you gasping of it's sheer brilliance.

I really like this. The composition, the way you overlap the dark lower left with the tail of that wispy thing, and then when the viewer's eye follows it up it is led into the middle light area behind the forground makes me want to see this animated so I can follow it! Only enough detail to ingage the imagination, not enough to dull it!
