First challenge for me, couldn't pass this one up :)

Her Hips sold this one for me ;), blocking the scene out with bips atm to get a feel for weight and poses (the leaping tiger is not sitting quite right once posed in 3d space :/ ), will post a pic up when I get home from work.

I know someone else is doing this one as well which kinda sucks for both of us but I'm cool with it, certainly not trying to step on any toes.
I'm 90% locked into this one, depends if I can get the pose of the leaping tiger to work, Ill stick with it otherwise might go with The Indian Brave.

Yeah, the pose on that tiger is really weird. It looks like it might actually be clawing the ground instead of leaping. That would probably make it more natural looking. Good luck.

Hey bro,

This should be sweet

Yeah that tiger is a strange one, looks as though she is holding it back by his neck...stopping him from attacking! She should just let him free

Will check back in, good luck

Who cares if someone else is doing the same image. Makes it all the more interesting, if you ask me.

Regarding the right-hand side beasty, don't forged that Sabretooth Tigers are huge. As far as I interpret the scene setup , she is standing on a somewhat elevated position and the tiger is jumping to attack from behind her, hindpaws positioned lower. Her arm is angled much to far back and up, in order to be holding him, I'd say. The hill may also have a decline from left to right. Maybe this helps visualize the scene in 3D.

Cheers!

Ok, had a bit of a go at it and I am fairly happy with the new posing, I think it quite works with her pulling him back, fits in with her pose in terms of control over the 2 tigers ;)

Will refine the posing more as I progress but this served as a slap comp for general composition, weighting, poses and it's a good way to start any piece and helped me iron out a few bugs. The prowling tiger needs a stronger pose, really want to get that stalking/hunting feeling from her :).
Have started the female mesh, going with zspheres to rough sculpt to retop. Never started a work this way before and after a hilariously bad first attempt, the second attempt worked out nice.
Will post it during the week once Ive finished making and retoping the torso and limbs, hands, feet and the face.

Ty, sorry I couldn't make it to the fight, its been gfs birthday stuff all weekend :/, tell me how it was on Monday ;)

good posing, very true to the painting. Looks like you've figured out the leaping tiger very well, makes sense pose and weight wise. She's one strong lady!
