Can someone please help me.
In this scene I have a sink with a polygonal plane as the water:

But when I render with mental ray the water appears on top of the sink:

I tried rendering with maya hardware and it is rendering how it should be. I even tried replacing the polygonal plane with a nurbs plane, but to no avail.
