Okay... so here I go... need to spend some more time sculpting and I am going to give sculptris a spin this time. I kinda love that program so what's better than a full fledged HMC to see if I can use it for a full project.

Sculptris adds tris as I go along so I can basically pull the whole figure from a sphere, but since creating a quick base model is easier and faster I will do that.

BTW Sculptris is free to use, made by the amazing dr Petter. It sculpts and paints and adds geometry on the fly if detail is needed. http://www.sculptris.com/
I promise that is all the plugging I am going to do. :)

And here is the low poly all ready to go. ( yes I made this one yesterday :D )

I love the dynamic subdivision (or whatever it's called). Watching the geometry multiply as you need it is really cool. Good luck, hopefully you create a great demo piece for the software.

Crap!

My computer went down friday... it probably was the heat... it was about 33 degrees celcius outside... so that would be about 40 indoors, including the heat from the beast itself... could give temperatures to about 60-70 degrees celsius. which is rather threathening for a humble power supply that had a major fan replacement operation not too long ago.

A moment of silence before resurrection with a new heart.

Will be ordering replacement parts today... since I was gone this weekend.... I hope I have some sculpting time at work.
