on a positive note, that's many times more than the number of entry to mid level xsi jobs to apply to for such trainees.

Yeah the turn out is really rather dissappointing... it really sucks because from all the folks I've talked to, the 4U training sessions are really powerful for getting from "Just starting to grasp this stuff" to "Hey I can do that!" if you have the noodle for it. I am actually considering getting a Academic version of Maya, so that I can come to grips and take that 4U, then try to migrate as much of the tutelage as possible back to my love, XSI. The bonus to this is then I get the power of Maya and XSI in my arsenal, plus it ain't a bad thing to have Maya on the resume... :shrug:
