(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/417731_1277697374/1024bound)In the future, the piston engine racing plane will evolve into a canard, or tail-first twin engine machine. The push-pull engine configuration will increase performance, and save the very few remaining World War Two vintage racers from being destroyed in racing accidents. Here we see a racing team practicing above the owner's desert facility at an undisclosed location. For safety, each plane is equipped with an ejector seat, and a fixed landing gear is used to save weight. The two five-bladed propellers spin in opposite directions in order to eliminate torque. The air intakes for the engines are located at the wing roots, and the two powerful V-12 powerplants are cooled by an advanced surface evaporation system, which requires no external radiators. The car is an electric machine.
This is my last entry for this competition, and I have enjoyed working on my entries immensely. I would also like to thank all those involved in organizing such an amazing event. Good luck to everyone.
