I was initially going to do the Apes of Mars from this painting, however i've decided to change it to the martian from John Carter of Mars. I'm doing so because with the martian i won't have to worry about hair, unlike the apes.
The martian should be alot of fun and i'm going to give him as much of a frazetta look as i can, for he is in a couple of frazetta's paintings and i'm going to pull from them all to create a diorama of the martian.
I've already done a bust of him for fun on my site, but i'm going to start over from scratch and really try to make a great piece with this.
