hi guys,

i am using fusion 6.0 a few weeks and i am on a project where i have to create some depthmaps.
i've got a stereo scene where i will create additional snow particles, also in stereo. i don't how to start creating a depthmap for the additional snow. if you know any detailed tutorial i would be very thankful! i searched the whole web, but i can't find relevant tutorials for this purpose.

does any one have a clue?
cheers!

exactly!
i watched this tutorial a few days ago, it deals with my issues, but it is too short and not so detailed,
a project file of this one would be great!
or do you know another more detailed one?

thanks a lot!

i dont know any other tutorials on this topic, but basicly the depthmap is created as a grayscale image (in fusion itself with spline or the paint tool) and then use this as displacement map

if you have a 3d tracking software (pftrack or so) then you should take a look into it, most of them can generate a depthmap from the tracked camera

got it! it works with the displacement 3d node and also with the channel booleans node!
anyway, thanks!
