Hello!

I have had this WIP going for a few days over at the Lightwave forums, and decided to post it here also.

I aplogise in advance if this is considered spamming that's not my intention.

The mesh still needs alot of work. It's a little sloppy in the fabric and wrap areas. I need to fix the intersecting areas ect.

Thanks! and heres an update, and some wires.

I still need to fix up the shirt. I'm not happy with it, especially on the left side. Also a few other areas still need fixing. Next up is a ninja style utility belt, a dagger on the hip, feet, then I'll detail the mesh further. Finger wrinkles in the cloth, facial scar, ties on the rope ect.

Thank you.

Here's what I've done so far of my character.

It wasn't untill I had done a GI Render that I realized that some areas of the model are very messy (mainly the folds in the fabric wraps)

Next step will be to fix up those messy areas, then start to add fine detail to the mesh.

I'm wondering what method(s) you used to model this guy. The reason I ask is that the curvature of the lines on the knees, and the 'ringed folds' of the sleeves lend themselves to spline-based modeling. Just wondering.. maybe its a hybrid. I like the style of the character. :)

I splinemodeled a character once in full but in the future I am going to mainly polymodel and just splinemodel certain parts of a model for attachment where I found it suitable.
