View Full Version : ShadowMatte-like material in Vue

Is there one in Vue (Inf 8.xx) ? Like in 3dsMax Shadow/Matte material. A simple task: I have ground in photo and want to eco-populate it (preferably in Vue? w/o additional post work).
So I put a photo (with a Backdrop-option for camera), had (almost) set the plane for the ground...
Now how to set up ground's material to receive shadows from Vue growth only? any thoughts?

well, i didn't find any 'build-in Vue shadow/matte material solution' (though I suspect that with advanced FE manipulations we can have such kind of material in Vue)..
but in case you wonder how my task was done...
simply: with turning on 'Shadow pass' in 'Multi-passes render mode'...
at least in somehow worked for me (applied as Darker colors layer in PShop).
