(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/417731_1277338477/1024bound)I was wondering, since gas turbine powered battle tanks are a reality, why not gas turbine powered limousines?
This time I went for a less "organic" look, sticking to sharper lines in my design. My
intention here was to come up with a retro futuristic design for a saloon car of the near future. Heavily armored, and powered by twin gas turbines, this vehicle would be the ideal workhorse for the transportation of important government leaders and diplomats. Lengthened versions would also be available. Napoleon Bonaparte's favorite horse was called "Melange". I like the sound of it so much I decided to use it for my limo. As always in this competition, I had a lot of fun working on this project.
Modeled and rendered in Lightwave 3D.
