It's possible, that cars or ground transport, may not be in distance future, but only air transport. So, this idea of artifical "fly" vehicle is one of my future transport visions. Perfection of nature is not already reached by human, so if human wants to go over the edges of options of today's knowledge, he must be inspirated by nature.

It certainly looks nice, my only question would be if the materials used withstand the 30-50 Hz vibration the housefly normally produces. I think there is only so much we can take from nature as an inspiration without banging into our technological limits.

Thanks, well, if you think of wings and their vibration, in general you are right, but my idea was, that this wings are only used for manoeuvring and coordinating, for movement there are couple of engines. So you don't need so strong materials....but still, future is unpredictable and maybe there will be materials like that :)
