model our door flat
then draw in a line of skelegons ( all straight enough or the path the door needs to take )
create a morphs that move from one end of the skelegons to the end
goto layout
convert bones,
bend the bones to the path the door will follow
( turn on "use morphed position" in the bones options panel )
and now use the morph to make the mesh follow the bone path

mmm... I do sometimes 360 degrees objects for the web. We dont use a lwo or a real 3D object because the render would be real crap. I render a full 360 degrees, full quality, with a camera parented to a rotating null, 360 frames long, then I render to the desired size quicktime PNG with alpha. The flash programmer take that, put a slider, and voila!
