Wow very cool. I would be scared if that came around the corner. I like the enviroment and the character. Although it would be cool to see the character on its own. Any chance of this. Can't wait to see more.

That is one heck of robot! Excellent design and attention to detail the geometry, it looks somewhat like a large mechanical Gorilla. The only problem is that you haven't left anything to crit. Very nice job.
'Sackers' cool title too, I'll look forward to that animation

hui
it's a murder.
nice texturing.
i like it.
Hi!
I can just agree with koroko: this is truly quality work! Kudos to you for your efforts!
I have just one remark that my engineering mind immediately reacted upon: The feet.
Physics dictate that you need at least three connection points with a plane (i.e. the ground) to make things stable. With the feet like you have made them I would say that you only have a ground contact along a line (i.e. 2 points). The robot would easily fall over either backwars or forwards standing up straight.
OK . I can agree that even with todays control systems you can make a pencil stand on its tip, but anyway: I would like to see a third "toe" jutting out backwards: like the feet of a bird for instance, or like the heel of a pair of women's high heel shoes (but I think I would like the bird variant better in this case).
Anyway: That was my immediate reaction (apart from "wow - darn good work!") ;)
Cheers

If, you are right, jdj, the feet are the area but slack of the structure of the Bot. I am thinking of changing them, thank you for the observation.
And to all the other ones, thank you for the welcome, it encourages me a lot that you this liking. A greeting:applause:

May I suggest a three 'toed' foot? Two toes forward at approx. 90degree angle (+45 and -45) and one straight backwards? Make them "bulky" like the rest of the character.

I think that this new foot is but coherent with the robot's general aspect. That you say?:lightbulb
Same high quality as the rest of your work!
One nitpick: The foot as it stands right now is still unstable... The center of mass is practicly on the extreme tip of the heel (check the right view of the foot).
A little longer heel would fix it. However, it can also be "fixed" if you sentry has a forward leaning gait & pose, but then I suspect it might look like it "stands on its toes".
I'm looking forward to see more of your work!
Cheers!
